We have moved all of its staff over to a four-day working week, without any reduction in pay.

Our Managing Director, David Cann, explained the reason behind it:

“COVID-19 has changed how every business operates. We’re determined to make the change a positive.

“Lockdown highlighted the importance of time with family. That’s why we’ve started a new four-day working week – without any reduction in pay – to help support our employees mental health, well-being and give them a healthier work-life balance.”

Target Publishing are the UK’s leading independent publisher and events organiser in the natural health, integrative health and education markets.

Campaigners, trade unions and economists argue that a four-day week could bring multiple benefits to society, the environment, our democracy and our economy through increased productivity.

Joe Ryle, a campaigner with the 4 Day Week Campaign, said:

“Congratulations to Target Publishing. It’s great to see employers getting on with it themselves and moving their employees over to a four-day week.

“The four-day week is an idea that is gaining momentum across the world right now because people are re-imagining a better future for themselves post COVID-19.”
